Long story short: tell our FTC to create a sort of do-not-call registry for our data, and tell Dollar General to stop with the understaffing and the inflation already. Use the email/petition tools in the following paragraphs to communicate your will.
Do Not Dox helps you tell our Federal Trade Commission (or FTC) to create a “do-not-call registry for data brokers,” so that private data brokers can’t collect and sell your private data. Remember when Republicans scuttled our FCC’s pretty good data privacy rule, claiming that this is a job for the FTC? Guess what they’ll say when our FTC does it: this is a job for Congress! And that will be to laugh – these Congressdolts have had plenty of chances to protect us from data pirates, but they’ve proven wouldn’t protect good Americans’ privacy if it meant lost unearned income for some CEO somewhere. And that’s why we’ve got to step up and make our will unmistakable.
More Perfect Union helps you tell Dollar General to stop understaffing their stores and overcharging for products. I guess that’s how a boss makes money anymore – it sure ain’t by coming up with superior products, or better ways of doing things! But just creating more jobs solves a lot of problems, and just because something works for bosses doesn’t mean it works for you and I. Too many good Americans, besieged by similarly bad treatment at their own jobs, shop for everything they can at dollar stores, and thus feed into the mistreatment of their comrades. But if we must have dollar stores – though must we, really? – then we’d better brandish the Big Stick of Bad PR whenever they do wrong.
